Ammonium perchlorate - the rocket and missile oxidiser - is contract manufactured today, and from our own UK plant in 2027. RDX and related formulations, and NC-based propellants, are sourced to order from our network. Cotton linter pulp for nitrocellulose makers is supplied from outside Chinese supply.
From H2 2027, our own line mixes insensitive fills without blades.
Resonant acoustic mixing (RAM) fills insensitive, mix-in-case fills with no blades or kettles. It fills shells, warheads and small rocket motors, and mixes composite propellant charges - something neither melt-pour nor screw lines can do. Published trials of resonant acoustic mixing show up to 79% less solvent and 63% less hazardous waste. Our RAX shells are designed for these fills, with engineered fragmentation through internal texture patterns.
